Something I regret (not) doing

Hi guys,

As the subject of this week, I suggest we write a few lines about something you regret (not) doing, trying not to forget to use "3rd conditional"....
Here is my story...
Once a friend of mine invited me to go to a party and, since I was exhausted, I turned down his invitation. The following day he called me up first thing in the morning just to let me know that, believe it or not, Reinaldo Gianecchini was at the party!!! I really regret not taking up his invitation because if I had gone to the party with him, I would have seen (maybe even met)one of my favorite TV stars!!

Why am I studying English?

Hi Folks,

About English in my life ? I think nowadays it is crucial.

My professional life is totally based on it, if you want to be up to date on IT business you need to study and read a lot.

And of course most of the books and papers first appearance are in English...

What would you do ? Wait to a translation ? Things change so fast in IT.
